ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - St. Paul police say two men are in custody after supplying drugs and alcohol to two teenage girls, including one who died.
Authorities say a 14-year-old girl was found unresponsive in her bedroom by her parents Monday morning. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say she and a 17-year-old girl had gone to a party with the men Sunday night in Burnsville where they drank alcohol and ingested codeine.
The older girl was taken to Regions Hospital where she was treated for a possible drug overdose. Police say the girl is in fair condition.
The men, ages 19 and 25, are being held on suspicion of unintentional third-degree murder.
