SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Money seized from drug dealers is being used to pay for improvements to a Minnehaha County shooting range used by law enforcement.
The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office has been awarded $40,000 by the attorney general for improvements to its Ellis Firearms Range.
Officials say the money will be used for a new building that will serve as a training facility.
Officials say about 20 law enforcement agencies use the shooting range that was built about 40 years ago.
