Annual events return soon to Minnesota in the battle against diabetes.

Christine Schaeberle, from the American Diabetes Association's Red Strider program, says health care money is being eaten up by the large number of people with the disease.

Several Step Out walks are scheduled next month to raise money and awareness. More information on the walks can be found at diabetes.org.
