The Clay County Sheriff's Department took part in a roundup on Monday after a llama spooked a group of horses.
Sheriff Bill Bergquist said a farmer called for help after 18 of his horses took off running and he could not corral them.
"We called our animal officer and he came out with some help, with an ATV and put some feed in the back of the ATV to get the horses and they led them all back home," said Bergquist. "It actually started in Clay County and the horses went into Norman County, and the llama that scared them was from Norman County and came into Clay County."
It took nearly four hours to round up the horses and the wayward llama.
