Reward Offered For Stolen Dinosaur Bones

A reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of dinosaur bones that were stolen from a West Fargo storage garage last month.

A reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of dinosaur bones that were stolen from a West Fargo storage garage last month.

Gary Olson said among the bones stolen are the lower jaws of a mosasaur. Olson wants the pieces back because the mosasaur skeleton he has would be incomplete.

"I'm offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest or conviction, the return mostly of the fossils," said Olson.

The bones were in yellow carboard boxes with gray dinosaur images and Japanese writing on them.

Anyone with information on the fossils is asked to call West Fargo police.
