A Pelican Rapids, Minn. teenager who said he would stay active and play sports after losing part of his leg to bone cancer is doing just that.
A.J. Wroe will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Tuesday’s Minnesota Twins game.
Following the amputation of part of his leg and several rounds of chemotherapy, Wroe is now cancer-free. Wroe has a prosthetic leg and hopes to play baseball.
