Moorhead's Police Chief Is Finalist In St. Cloud

Moorhead Police Chief David Ebinger has been identified as one of five finalists who will interview Wednesday to be the next police chief in St. Cloud, Minn.

 

 

 

 

Moorhead Police Chief David Ebinger has been identified as one of five finalists who will interview Wednesday to be the next police chief in St. Cloud, Minn.

Ebinger tells KFGO News it is an opportunity he has been exploring, but he says he is still "very happy" in Moorhead.

Ebinger is competing for the job with a Chicago police lieutenant, a commander with the Duluth Police Department, the chief deputy in Carver County and St. Cloud's interim police chief.

St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis said he plans to hire the new police chief in July.

Ebinger has been Moorhead's police chief since 2006.
