Today Google will be in Bismarck to help small businesses build an Internet presence.
The businesses will be shown how to develop their own web sites, and Google is also offering to host the sites for the first year free of charge.
Craig McFadden is a North Dakota native who works for YouTube. He’ll be at the event to help businesses with their web sites. He says a nationwide survey shows more than half of small businesses do not have a presence on the web.
McFadden says 60 small businesses pre-registered for the seminar.
It’s being held today at the Bismarck Civic Center.
