ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - A tornado touched down near a tiny town in northern South Dakota Friday, but there are no reports of injuries or damage.
Brown County Emergency Management director Scott Meints says the tornado was spotted two miles north of Columbia at about 5:30 p.m.
Meteorologist Troy Kleffman with the National Weather Service in Aberdeen says the tornado occurred during one of several storms that moved through northeastern South Dakota on Friday.
