Gas Prices Expected To Drop

Gas prices are expected to come down soon with several states already reporting prices under $3 per gallon.

Gas prices are expected to come down soon with several states already reporting prices under $3 per gallon.

Gene LaDoucer from AAA North Dakota said relief at the pump will be here within the week.

"We're starting to see gasoline prices trend lower again in the Midwest and I would expect they will continue to do so to the tune of 15 to 20 cents in the coming days," said LaDoucer.

Oil refinery issues in Chicago and elsewhere in the Midwest have kept prices higher than they should be.

LaDoucer said this part of the country is always slower to respond to lower oil prices.
