Man Caught Burglarizing Ashby Hardware Store

A Fergus Falls man is facing charges after being caught burglarizing a hardware store in Ashby early Monday morning.

 

 

 

 

ASHBY, MN - A Fergus Falls man is facing charges after being caught burglarizing a hardware store in Ashby early Monday morning.

 

Law officers surrounded the Hardware Hank after the owner, who lives upstairs, noticed someone inside the store on a video monitoring system.

The owner and his family were evacuated.

Authorities later found the suspect hiding in a bedroom in the family's home above the store.  The suspect is being held in the Douglas County Jail in Alexandria.
