A man was arrested and taken to a Fargo hospital following a three car wreck in south Fargo Wednesday afternoon. The collisions took place on 13th Avenue at 8th and 9th Streets.
Police Lieutenant Joel Vettel said the man was driving a stolen vehicle.
Zack Tourangeau, a passenger in the second car that was hit, described the incident to KFGO News.
"We heard a car come up behind us and we noticed it before it was too late, and it hit us in our front, left fender, and sent us up over the curb and over a couple of driveways and we ended up hitting a speed post and grazing a tree, luckily, and came to a stop here," said Tourangeu.
Tourangeau's fiancee and two-year-old son were in the car. They were transported by ambulance to a hospital but he expects that they will be okay.
Vettel was the first officer on the scene. He and two responding firefighters struggled with the man who caused the collisions until other officers arrived.
Vettel said the man was extremely combative.
