Women's Condition Improves Following I-94 Crash

A Barnesville, Minn. woman is in guarded condition at a Fargo hospital following a head-on crash Friday afternoon in an Interstate 94 road construction zone east of Moorhead.

 

 

 

 

A Barnesville, Minn. woman is in guarded condition at a Fargo hospital following a head-on crash Friday afternoon in an Interstate 94 road construction zone east of Moorhead.

Roberta Haspel, 58, had been in critical condition.

Minnesota State troopers said Haspel was headed east when she crossed into the westbound lane near the Buffalo River bridge. She collided with a semitruck, which caught fire.

Traffic was tied up for miles and sections of Interstate 94 were closed for hours.
