Battle Of The Badges Kicked Off Yesterday

The classic rivalry between Fargo firefighters and police officers is on.

 

 

 

 

FARGO - The classic rivalry between Fargo firefighters and police officers is on.

"Battle of the Badges," which is a four-day competition to see which group can get the most blood donors.

Among those attending kick-off event's at West Acres yesterday was Daidre Seiple, whose son received three blood transfusions.

Seiple says, “If it wasn’t for the donor that saved my son’s life, I don’t know where we would be today.”

The event runs through Friday at West Acres Mall.

According to the Fargo Police Facebook page, Team Law, Fargo Police, currently leads Team Fire, Fargo Firgefighters, 94-79 after the first day of "Battle of the Badges."
