Some neighbors are complaining about the noise at the Buffalo River Race Park near Glyndon.
They went to the Clay County commission meeting hoping to put an end to the noise. Keith Berg says the track has taken away the perks of living in the "country" and he wants county commissioners to do something about it.
Others who packed the Clay County commission room say they're in favor of keeping the track just the way it is.
Glyndon resident Randy Olson says, “This is America, you have the ability to complain, you have the ability to run a due process and you have the ability to move if you don’t like where you are at.”
The owner of the park was at the meeting and says he does regular checks on park sound levels.
Commissioners agreed to make sure the tracks are staying within state laws.
One way they will do that is by bringing in high-tech monitors to check sound levels.
