Unseasonably Cool Temperatures Recorded Throughout The Region

There is a chill in the air this morning, as frost advisories were posted for central and parts of western and northeast North Dakota Wednesday morning.


Temperatures in the southern Red River Valley are unseasonably cool but not freezing. It is a different story in central and northern North Dakota, where temperatures plunged into the 20's and 30's early this morning. It was 29 in Dunseth and temperatures of 30 to 32 degrees were common from Ellendale to Rolla.


The coldest spot, according to the National Weather Service, was six miles north of Bismarck where a temperature of 26 degrees was recorded at 2 a.m.
