NCAA Official Apologies For Banner Mix-Up

An NCAA official is apologizing after she sent a national football championship banner to the University of North Dakota instead of North Dakota State University.

 

 

 

 

An NCAA official is apologizing after she sent a national football championship banner to the University of North Dakota instead of North Dakota State University.

Kelly Dodds from the NCAA said she made a simple mistake while reading the columns in her address book when she prepared the banner for shipping.

The banner sat in an unopened package for more than a week at North Dakota's Athletic Department before it was discovered.

North Dakota State won the banner in January for taking its first football championship subdivision title.
