Emergency responders in Fargo conducted an airport disaster exercise Friday morning.

The mock airliner crash took place at Hector International Airport. The event was timed and responders were required to transport 60 patients within one hour.

The drill is required by the Federal Aviation Administration and is conducted every three years in Fargo.

Groups participating in the event included the Fargo and West Fargo Fire Departments, North Dakota Air National Guard Fire Department, Fargo Police, F-M Ambulance and the Salvation Army.
