Becker County Man Sentenced For Sexual Assault

A Frazee, Minn. man has been sentenced to more than 19 years in prison for the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl two years ago.

 

 

 

 

A Frazee, Minn. man has been sentenced to more than 19 years in prison for the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl two years ago.

Troy Gibson, 45, was convicted by a Becker County jury in April.

Gibson allowed a girl who had run away to spend the night at his home in the mobile home park that he managed.

The judge gave Gibson the maximum allowed under Minnesota law saying he never admitted guilt and showed no remorse.

Gibson could be considered for release from prison in 10 years.
