The City of Fargo has released information on several streets that will be closed Friday night and Saturday morning for the Fargo Marathon.

The City of Fargo has released information on several streets that will be closed Friday night and Saturday morning for the Fargo Marathon.
Drivers are being urged to allow extra time to reach their destinations.
The following areas are expected to be congested and drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes:
University Drive between 12th Ave. N. and 19th Ave. N. will be closed during the 5K run/walk on Friday from approximately 5 to 8 p.m. On Saturday, the road will close at 5 a.m. and remain closed until late in the afternoon when the marathon concludes.
South University Drive between 30th Ave. S. and 32nd Ave. S. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from approximately 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday.
10th St. N. is under construction. Traffic will be detoured on 18th St. N. via 12th Ave. N. and 19th Ave. N.
10th St. S. will be reduced to one lane for northbound traffic between 2nd Ave. S. and 1st Ave. N. between 7 a.m. and approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Drivers are recommended to use 25th St. as an alternate to University Drive on the south side of town.
Those traveling to the Fargodome are encouraged to use 12th Ave. N. or 19th Ave. N. via Interstate 29. If your destination is north of the Fargodome, it is suggested you use County Road 20 or 19th Ave. N. from Interstate 29.
