The president of North Dakota State University says the issue of how the money from student fees is spent will be a thing of the past come this fall semester.

NDSU President Dean Bresciani told an interim legislative committee, everything will change under the new "student success" tuition model.

An audit has criticized the use of fee money for first class airline tickets, the purchase of iPads for university employees and a severance package for an employee.

Bresciani says NDSU is working to better account for how fee money is spent.

New University Chancellor Ham Shirvani says the fees charged on all campuses will be reviewed.
