The union representing American Crystal's 1,300 members has a new offer that they believe the company will have a tough time turning down.
Union Representative Roger Delage said the union is ready to address Crystal's concerns.
"We are coming there prepared," said Delage. "We addressed several of the issues the company has addressed. We are coming there with a package to try and end this lockout."
American Crystal and the union are set to return to the bargaining table June 8th. Workers have been locked out since last August when they rejected a contract proposed by management.
Reacting to the latest news, Crystal Vice President Brian Ingulsrud says the company will wait to see what the union has to offer.
The two sides have not met since February.
