More Details Surface Surrounding Jamestown Crash

A North Dakota State Patrol Lieutenant is offering more details surrounding a head-on collision near Jamestown that killed a West Fargo family and the driver of a pickup who was in the wrong lane.

FARGO - A North Dakota State Patrol Lieutenant is offering more details surrounding a head-on collision near Jamestown that killed a West Fargo family and the driver of a pickup who was in the wrong lane.


Lt. Aaron Hummel says the drunk driver, Wyatt Klein, had left a rest stop and was headed east in the westbound lane.


Hummel, appearing on KFGO News and Views, says witnesses began to frantically call 911 when they witnessed Klein going the wrong direction.


He says the collision took place as the calls were coming in.


Klein's blood alcohol level was .25.
