Two men have been charged in the theft of handcuffs, a stun gun, a police radio and a bulletproof vest from an unmarked Fargo Police car that was parked outside an officer's home in April.

Kody Thronson, 19, of Dilworth and Casey Gillette, 18, of Moorhead are accused of taking the property from the officer's car.

A pair of handcuffs were later recovered in Moorhead after a man reported that he could not get the handcuffs off.

The theft led to disciplinary action against the officer, who had left the car unlocked.
