Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Northern Minn., Eastern N.D.

The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for portions of northern Minnesota and far Eastern North Dakota effective Monday until 7 p.m.

The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for portions of northern Minnesota and far Eastern North Dakota effective Monday until 7 p.m.


Minnesota counties included are Becker, Beltrami, Clay, Clearwater, Hubbard, Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, Roseau and Wadena.

North Dakota counties included are Barnes, Cass, Cavalier, Grand Forks, Griggs, Nelson, Pembina, Ramsey, Steele, Traill and Walsh.


Hail to 2.5 inches in diameter, thunderstorm wind gusts to 70 mph and dangerous lightning are possible in these areas.
