The resumption of a Bison-Sioux football series is back on the front burner after UND officials announced a tentative agreement had been reached on future games. According to NDSU Athletic Director Gene Taylor, there are still a lot of details to be worked out before a contract is signed.

UND Athletic Director Brian Faison announced the tentative agreement involves a game on September 19th, 2015 in Fargo and a second game on September 9th, 2017 in Grand Forks. Taylor says those dates are premature.

"I still think we're a few steps away from contract discussions, because we still have some things on the table to address detail wise," said Taylor. "I think once we start this, people are going to expect it to be more than two years. Brian still feels after '17 he would like to be it every year, I still would like to see it play every other year. Until we get that resolved beyond '17, which is a big discussion, I think we really need to have that answer, because people aren't going to want this to be just a two year deal."

Taylor said he and Faison and the two university presidents will have to sit down face-to-face and work out details.
