West Fargo residents will have to wait until June 13th to utilize Veterans Memorial Pool.

"We've had a little bit of a maintenance issue with some paint on the bottom of the pool," said West Fargo Park District Director Barb Erbstoesser. "It's a 56-year-old pool and we put as much tender loving care into the facility as we can to try to get it open efficiently for the public, but we had to do some painting and we just had some issues with the drying process of it."

Erbstoesser said the pool is not heated, so they typically do not open until the second week in June, but the warmer weather has a lot of people anxious to get in the water.
