Man Sentenced In Fargo Shooting

A judge has sentenced a Dilworth, Minn. man to 18 years in prison for a shooting last summer outside West Acres Cinema in Fargo.

 

 

 

 

A judge has sentenced a Dilworth, Minn. man to 18 years in prison for a shooting last summer outside West Acres Cinema in Fargo.

District Judge Wade Webb sentenced Felipe Estrada on Monday.

Estrada was convicted of reckless endangerment and aggravated assault after shooting the ex-husband of his former girlfriend seven times. Estrada testified in March that he never intended to hurt anyone.

The victim, Juan Garza, has recovered from his injuries.
