Autopsy Ordered Following Unattended Death In Fargo

An autopsy has been ordered on a man found dead outside a south Fargo residence early Wednesday morning.

According to Fargo Police, when others in the home discovered the unresponsive man, they dragged him to a small pool in the backyard and put him the water in an attempt to revive him. When that was unsuccessful, they carried him to the front yard and then called 911.

Lt. Joel Vettel said it is standard police procedure to investigate all unattended deaths.
