Stormy weather was reported over parts of our region last night.
Several areas, including Mayville, Grand Forks, Edmore and Halstad, saw quarter sized hail. Large tree branches were snapped at a farmstead near Prosper, in Cass County, where pea to dime-sized hail covered the ground.
A semitruck was blown off Interstate 29 in the Argusville area.
Most of the bad weather hit between 5:30 and 7 p.m.
Heavy rain fell to our west. Four to six inches of rain fell near Parshall, on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.
Dickinson also saw heavy rain earlier in the day, leading to street flooding.
