COLD SPRING, Minn. (AP) - Central Minnesota's Cold Spring Brewing Co. made a lot of cheap beer over the years.

Now it's hoping a new $12 million brewhouse could put some bad memories to rest.

When its Third Street Brewhouse comes online in just more than a week, many of the 200-plus employees should get a boost in self-esteem.

A gleaming five-tank, computerized system will replace an antiquated two-vessel setup in an old building and, perhaps most important, produce three new craft beers as its signature offerings.

Early next week, crews will begin bottling Bitter Neighbor black India pale ale, Lost Trout brown ale; and Rise to the Top cream ale.

They will be available in bars and restaurants beginning June 28th, and in stores June 29th.
