BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Several companies that are part of a cooperative marketing and promotional group sponsored by the state of North Dakota are showing their wares at the Red River Valley Fair.
Twenty Pride of Dakota companies have booths for this week's event in West Fargo. Some of the products include wine, bread, pretzels, pasta, purses, baskets and bracelets.
The Red River Valley Fair is more than 100 years old. It attracts about 120,000 visitors a year.
Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says it's a great opportunity for North Dakota companies showcase their products.
The Pride of Dakota program has more than 500 member companies.
It is run by the marketing and information division of the state Department of Agriculture.
