Man Crashes Ultralight Plane In Northeast N.D. Field

MANVEL, N.D. (AP) - A Manvel pilot who crashed his ultralight plane in a northeastern North Dakota wheat field is in satisfactory condition at a Grand Forks hospital.

The hospital did not release information on the nature of Mike Callahan's injuries to the Grand Forks Herald.

Callahan's plane crashed east of Manvel on Monday evening. Local and state authorities responded to the crash. The cause was not immediately released.
