The find of pot plants south of Breckenridge, Minn. isn't quite what it seemed.

The Wilkin County Sheriff's Office said the 153 plants appeared to be growing wild, some of them along railroad tracks. Other plants were on private land.

A resident in Doran had reported the suspicious plants.

Marijuana plants have grown in the wild for decades in Wilkin and Richland Counties.
