Stutsman Courthouse Free Of Mold

Officials say air samples show that mold problems in the old Stutsman County Courthouse have not spread to the new courthouse.

 

 

 

 

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) - Officials say air samples show that mold problems in the old Stutsman County Courthouse have not spread to the new courthouse.

The two Jamestown buildings are connected and there were worries about air quality in the new courthouse. North Dakota's Emergency Commission earlier this month approved $60,000 to help the State Historical Society with repairs to the old courthouse, which was built in 1883.

Architectural project manager Tom Linn said the Historical Society plans to work on mold and asbestos problems in the old courthouse this summer and fall.
