Minnesota State Representative Morrie Lanning of Moorhead is planning an announcement for Thursday.

 

 

 

 

Minnesota State Representative Morrie Lanning of Moorhead is planning an announcement for Thursday.

Lanning, who helped lead the campaign in the legislature for a new Vikings stadium, would not say what the annoucement is about. Asked by KFGO News whether he is seeking another political office, the Republican would only say that he thinks his announcement will be newsworthy.

Lanning served as a city council member before he was elected the mayor of Moorhead, a post he held for 21 years.
