MINOT, N.D. (AP) - No travel is being advised in parts of northern North Dakota due to icy roads.
The Minot Police Department and the McKenzie County Sheriff's Department both have issued no-travel advisories. Minot police report numerous vehicle accidents. In McKenzie County, authorities say reduced visibility also is a problem.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for northwest and north central North Dakota due to snow, sleet and freezing rain.
