Twin Cities based SuperValu is selling five of its grocery store chains to Cerberus for $3.3 billion.
Among those being sold are Albertsons, Acme, and Jewel-Osco.
SuperValu has decided to keep Hornbachers, Cub Foods, Save-A-Lot and several others, as well as its food distribution business.
Last year, SuperValu's stock hit lows not seen in at least 30-years.
