Money Stolen From SD Bank

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - Federal authorities are investigating a theft at a Pierre bank.

The FBI says an undisclosed amount of money was taken from a BankWest branch on South Highland Avenue just after 11 a.m. Monday.

The FBI's Bob Perry tells KCCR and KGFX radio that no weapons were used and there were no injuries.

The FBI is working with the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation and the Pierre Police Department on the investigation.
