A winter storm warning is posted for much of Western and Central North Dakota. Heavy snowfall accumulations of 10 to 15 inches can be expected for locations such as Williston, Watford City, Stanley, Mohall, Garrison, and Minot.

A winter storm warning is also posted through Sunday morning for Kittson, Towner, Cavalier, Pembina, Benson, Ramsey, Walsh, Eddy, and Nelson Counties..including the cities of Hallock, Cando, Langdon, Cavalier, Devils Lake, Grafton, New Rockford, Lakota and Adams.

National Weather Service forecaster Al Voelker says the good news is that Southeast North Dakota will dodge the worst of the storm. Rain will change over to sleet and then all snow after midnight.
