Excitement and then disappointment.

232 high school students who received letters saying they were accepted to attend college at Minnesota State University- Moorhead, are receiving new letters, saying they did not meet enrollment requirements and the first letters were a mistake.
MSU-M intended to set aside the applications for individual review because the students did not meet the standards for admission.

But the files weren't sent to a committee that does the reviews.

Instead, the acceptance letters were mailed out.

It took the admissions office six months to catch the mistake.

MSU-M says it will offer an academic success program that will allow the students into the university if successfully completed.
