Fargo Man Takes A Bite Out Of Crime

A crime victim helped police collar a car prowler in North Fargo.

The owner spotted a man go through his car and called police. He then followed the thief on foot, updating officers on his whereabouts by cellphone, until they were able to catch up and arrest him.

David Williams, 40, who has no permanent address, is facing a number of charges in connection with the theft. He was also wanted on several outstaning warrants. Police recovered electronic items taken from the car.
