A West Fargo man was arrested after assaulting three Fargo Police officers who tried to arrest him on a warrant.
It happened at the Holiday Inn early Sunday after police were called to help evict some loud partygoers who were refusing to cooperate with security guards. Sgt. Jim Kringlie says the officers were attacked as they tried to arrest one man who had a warrant.
Three officers were punched in the head and face. The man was arrested after being tased.
Archie Hopkins was taken to the Cass County Jail. He was arrested for assault on a peace officer, as well as the warrant.
None of the officers was seriously hurt. Kringlie says alcohol played a role in the incident.
