The incoming majority leader of the Minnesota Senate says he's willing to talk about the possibility of medical marijuana legislation.

Tom Bakk, who recently met with the police and peace officers association, says law enforcement has concerns.

Bakk says advocates of medical marijuana will have to explain their reasoning to law enforcement.

Governor Dayton has indicated that as long as most police agencies in the state are against legalizing marijuana for medical purposes, he won't support the idea.
