A Ransom County judge has decided there is enough evidence to proceed with a murder case against a Fort Ransom, North Dakota woman, accused in the death of her infant son.

29-year old Jodie Lindvall is facing charges in the September death of 22-month-old Bentley Lindvall.

He was found on the floor of his room, unconscious.

She told investigators her son hit his head while she was struggling to change his diaper.

The boy suffered bruises on his neck, broken bones and significant head trauma.

Court documents say the child also had a number of healing fractures, indicating old injuries.

He died several days later in a Fargo hospital.

Lindvall will be arraigned on murder and child abuse charges next week.
