Peterson Says Farm Bill Vote Unlikely This Week

It doesn't look like there will be a floor vote on the Farm Bill in the U.S. House this week, according to Rep. Collin Peterson.

He says Republican leaders are only bringing lawmakers back for a day or a two before the Thanksgiving break.

Peterson says he was hoping the full house would vote on the five-year farm bill this week. He remains opposed to any short-term extensions.
