Water problems are nothing new for residents of Oslo, in Northwest Minnesota.

Usually, it's too much water. The small town 25 miles north of Grand Forks is sometimes isloated for weeks during Red River flooding and massive levees surround the town. But now it's a lack of water that's causing headaches.

Saturday, broken water mains forced the town to shut off water service. Contractors were still working on the problems Monday.

Kitty Stromberg owns a cafe on Main Street. She says its a "pain", but residents and busisnesses are coping as best they can. She's boiling water to make coffee and clean dishes. The City has provided bottled water for citizens.:

City officials hope to have water service restored soon.
