Hazen Man Escapes Serious Injury In Car-Train Crash

A Hazen, North Dakota man is lucky to be alive. The highway patrol says a car driven by 20-year old Shawn Hayes got hung up on railroad tracks east of Richardton.

 

 

 

 

A Hazen, North Dakota man is lucky to be alive.

The highway patrol says a car driven by 20-year old Shawn Hayes got hung up on railroad tracks east of Richardton.

Hayes was still in the car when it was struck by a BNSF train.

The car was totaled.

Hayes was treated and released from the Dickinson hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.

It happened late saturday night.
