Grand Forks and Valley City police had to deal with armed suicidal people over the holiday weekend.

Grand Forks police safely took a man into custody after he threatened to kill himself with a gun.

It happened at a truck stop in town.

Valley City police arrested a man following a six-hour armed standoff at a home.

No one was hurt in either incident.
