Forecasters are keeping their eyes on a developing storm system that is expected to track across parts of the region Thanksgiving Day.
KFGO's Terry Spies says while the storms track is still uncertain, it appears the likely path will be along and north of the U.S. Highway 2 corridor of North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.
The storm system will track across the region Thanksgiving morning with strong northwest winds to follow.
Temps will fall throughout the day with rain changing over to snow by afternoon and evening in those northern areas.
By Thursday evening, the winds combined with falling snow could create difficult travel conditions.
KFGO will keep you updated on the latest developments with the holiday travel forecast.
